Unpopular Opinion: Turbulence Makes Airplane Flights More Fun

How do you feel about this truly unpopular opinion? 

A lot of people are terrified of flying. They design their entire lives around never flying anywhere because it makes them so nervous, which can be tough in the modern age. If you have to take an Amtrak from New York to California, you're going to have to use a lot more of your vacation time on just traveling than you would if you took a 5-hour flight. While plane crashes are pretty uncommon, especially when compared with car crashes, you can't always convince somebody that with logic because they can't emotionally reckon with the fact that flying in the air terrifies them.

Turbulence is one of those things that, objectively, isn't that dangerous, but it understandably terrifies airline passengers. It feels like the plane is out of control, and that you could be going down with it at any second. Turbulence does not mean that a plane is going to crash, but it's frightening enough to keep a lot of people out of airplanes, because
